Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Project Management of Running LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PMPRunCal app on iOS and Android ("App") and the PMPRunCal pages of pmprunning.com. We have tried to write it plainly. If something is unclear, write to us at [email protected].

1. Who we are

PMPRunCal is made and operated by Project Management of Running LLC (brand: PMPRunning), a company based in El Paso, Texas, USA.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account: your name and email address, and a unique user ID, when you sign in with Google (iOS and Android) or with Apple (iOS only). You also choose a role (Athlete or Coach).
• Training data: distances, times, paces and personal bests you enter in the calculator and predictor. Your run history is saved on your device. Lap-timer sessions that a coach saves are stored in the coach's account.
• Teams and rosters: the team you create or join, and, for coaches, the athletes on the roster (name, main event and notes the coach writes).
• Athletes under 18: a coach may add an athlete under 18 to the roster without that athlete having an account. For these records the coach can enter the athlete's date of birth and must enter the name and email of a parent or guardian and confirm that the parent or guardian consented. We store those details with the athlete's record as the consent record. We do not collect an email address or phone number for the child. See section 8.
• AI Coach messages: the text you send to the AI Coach, together with training context such as your recent runs, paces and splits. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send a message, after reading the notice shown in the App.
• Optional email preferences: if you opt in inside the App, your email address, first name, role, plan and language, and the date you consented.
• Apple Health (iOS only, optional): if you allow it, the App reads running workouts, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep and body weight from Apple Health, to send them to your PMPRunning coaching portal when you turn on PMP Sync. The App does not write to Apple Health. The Android app does not read health data at this time.

Information collected through your device

• Usage data (Firebase Analytics): which features you use (for example, that a pace was calculated or a session was saved), your role and plan, basic device and app information, and a pseudonymous app-instance identifier. We do not use an advertising ID on Android or iOS, and we do not use the data for advertising.
• Location (iOS, optional): only while you run a GPS lap-timer session, to measure distance and pace. The route is not stored; only the final rounded distance is saved with the session.
• Camera: only to scan a team QR code. Images are not stored.
• Bluetooth (iOS, optional): to show live heart rate from a sensor you connect, such as WHOOP.

Purchases

Subscriptions bought in the App are processed by Apple (App Store, StoreKit) on iOS and by Google (Google Play Billing) on Android. We do not receive your card or bank details; we receive only whether your plan is active. If you buy a plan on pmprunning.com instead, the payment is processed by Stripe.

3. How we use your information

• To sign you in and keep your account working.
• To provide the calculator, race predictor, lap timer, teams, rosters and run history.
• To generate AI Coach responses.
• To know whether your Pro plan is active.
• To understand which features are used and to fix and improve the App (Firebase Analytics).
• With your optional consent, to send PMPRunCal updates and the Endurance Mindset newsletter. You can withdraw this in the App or with the unsubscribe link in any email.

4. Service providers that process data for us

We use the providers below. We checked each one against what the App and our server actually do.

• Google (Firebase): Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions and Analytics, which store and process your account, team and training data. Google Sign-In is used to sign in. firebase.google.com/support/privacy · policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple: Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase on iOS. apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google Play: Google Play Billing for subscriptions on Android. policies.google.com/privacy
• Anthropic (Claude): generates AI Coach responses. Your messages and training context are sent from the App to our server and from there to Anthropic. We do not use your data to train AI models. anthropic.com/privacy
• Vercel: hosts our website and the server that relays AI Coach requests. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Stripe: processes payments made on pmprunning.com. stripe.com/privacy
• Supabase: if you opt in to email, stores a minimal consent record (account ID, email, role, plan, language, consent dates). It does not receive health, workout, team or AI Coach data. supabase.com/privacy
• Kit: if you opt in to email, receives your email address, first name and audience tags to deliver PMPRunCal and Endurance Mindset emails. kit.com/privacy

5. Sharing and tracking

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. A coach can see the roster information and saved sessions of the athletes on their team. We share information with the providers in section 4 only so they can provide their service to us, or when the law requires it.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time, from the App or by email; the steps, what is deleted and what may remain are on pmprunning.com/en/delete-account.

If you delete your account from the App, your data is deleted as soon as you confirm. If you ask by email, we will finish within 30 days. Our providers may keep backup copies for a limited time after that.

7. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in methods private.

8. Children and young athletes

PMPRunCal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We do not create accounts for children. A coach can, however, add a younger athlete to the roster. When the athlete is under 18, the App asks the coach for the parent or guardian's name and email and for confirmation that the parent or guardian consented. The athlete has no account and enters no data. A parent or guardian can write to us at [email protected] to ask what is stored about the athlete, to correct it, or to have it deleted.

To create your own account you must be at least 16 years old. Athletes younger than that can only appear in a roster, added by their coach with a parent or guardian's consent as described above.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. You can delete your account from the App and withdraw email consent in the App or from any email. For anything else, write to [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm you own the account before acting on a request.

We will answer requests to access, correct or export your information within 30 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the App or by email.
